In-depth review

What it's like to own

Most walking pads have nothing to hold. The X5F adds long padded side rails, which owners recovering from injuries and older walkers appreciate, plus a pin-set incline at 2%, 12% or 16% and a 330 lb rating.

The belt is short (35.8 × 15.2 in), so long-legged walkers may feel cramped, and the incline is changed by hand with a pin. It folds to stand upright rather than slide under a bed.

Several owners say assembly was the hardest part; once built, they report it runs smoothly, and some jog on it up to 6 mph.

Pros

  • Long side handrails
  • 16% manual incline
  • 330 lb rating
  • Low price range

Cons

  • Short 35.8 in belt
  • Assembly can be frustrating
  • Incline needs a pin change
  • Third-party seller
